Building a Speaker Brand with ONE Idea

Updated: Oct 21

I talk to so many women who have no clue what their brand idea is. They're stuck between 2 or more ideas and want to do them all at the same time. They seem to really think they're on to something, because in their mind "that's what God called them to do." Yet, God did not call them to be all over the place simply, because they think they have a special way to achieve greatness.

Bottom line is this ladies: With the abundance of social media platforms and online chaos, it can be easy to get lost in the noise. But that doesn't have to be you. One powerful way to stand out and make a lasting impression is by starting with ONE idea and leveraging that idea into a solid formidable brand. And don't let anyone tell you it will come overnight and not take years in the making. The hard fact of the matter is that building a brand takes time -- lots of it. But let that encourage you, because years will pass anyway, so let your brand grow with them. It's just a matter of time before you blow up. You can't rush the process by thinking you're going to get there faster by having a thousand niches and hoping one will be your big breakthrough. It doesn't happen like that. Breakthroughs happen with clear organization, ONE key brand idea (message), and staying out there with focus and consistently by adding value to the audience who sees you as the go-to expert in that niche.

By the way and in case you don't know: A niche is a specialized segment of the market for a particular kind of product or service (do you know yours?). A brand is your your image and what it represents (what's that for you?).

Remember this: Before you get out there too far, just know that your brand, particularly your great speaker brand, takes time, has a clear path of success (as much as God shows us), and must start with ONE idea. Then build from that idea with a focused plan of action until mission accomplished.
